With all the hysteria engulfing the world today, it seems as a perfect time for a long-awaited summer album from Drake. Releasing his last two albums during the 2018 and 2016 summer months, it feels reasonable to assume he will soon be releasing another summer anthem, along with the rest of the album, for 2020.
Yesterday, June 29th, DJ Akademiks posted a “leak” on his Instagram page alluding to the fact that Drake may be performing his old hits through “intimate concerts” on YouTube. However, the big news from the post was the anonymous leaker speculating the “King of Pop” may be ending his YouTube concerts with a sneak peek into his new album. Additionally, the leaker suspects the concerts to start around July 2nd, which would put the release of his newest album at the beginning of August.
🚨 HOT TAKE ALERT! 🚨
Due to his last releases, I think Drake is coming to the end of his artistic prime. I think his last album ‘Scorpion’ was watered-down with too many average songs that derailed his audience from his big hits such as “God’s Plan” and “Nice For What”. I am very interested to see if Drake is still the “KING”. I hope he proves me wrong.
