Florida rapper Ray Dubb first entered the rap game at only 14 years old. The Sarasota native’s love music sparked at the age of 9, inspired by artists such as Master P, Future, and Lil Wayne. In 2016, he went viral with his song “You Lied,” that passionately expressed the agony of heartbreak. His melodic voice fits perfectly over Florida trap beats which is what makes his music so original. Dubb is a dynamic artist who is not afraid to express his feelings through music. Outside of music, he was a football player but quit in high school to pursue his rap career. It’s safe to say that he made the right choice.
The young MC recently released his latest project “Life After Pain.” The album dives deep into emotional issues such has love, heartbreak, and perseverance. His emotional vocals and catchy hooks resemble artists such as Juice Wrld and Iann Dior. It’s no question that this kid has talent.
